Teddy Roosevelt's Progressive Party in 1912 put forward a platform with a range of pretty good ideas, nearly all of which have been implemented over the generations ....

The ideas included ... Women's Suffrage, Elimination of Child Labor, Intellectual Property Laws, Conservation and Water Rights and Public Health Insurance.
